Anyone that knows Andrew knows he is passionate about Hockey, he lives and breathes it and when he isn’t in the office, he’s most often found at the turf coaching one of his numerous teams, volunteering on the board or watching his family play.
Andrew has been playing hockey in Palmerston North since 1993 when he was in high school, over the years his involvement has grown from player to coach, committee member, board member and supporter. Andrew is selfless in his commitment to the sport; he isn’t one to ask for accolades or openly ask for recognition.
In August Andrew was awarded a life membership from the Palmerston North College Hockey Club. A life membership is something that over the years Andrew has seen awarded to the ‘legends’ of the club and not something he ever expected. We are so proud of Andrew and so pleased that his selfless commitment over the years has been openly recognised.
