We recently made our bi-annual community donation. Our team using a silent voting system, voted to support the Kind Hearts Movement, specifically the Parents Initiative at the Children's Ward and Neonates at the Palmerston North Hospital.
The Kind Hearts Parents Initiative, provides practical support for parents and whanau of sick children in the Children's Ward and Neonates at the Palmerton North Hospital by delivering goods twice a week. They deliver over 100 snack items and 50+ toiletries every week, including toothpaste and brushes, deodorant, shampoo and soap. This is a much-needed initiative that is greatly utilised by those staying at the hospital and they are seeing an increased demand in this service. All donations are allocated 100% towards purchasing the items provided for this initiative.
This donation was particularly meaningful to our team as the services of the parents’ initiative have been utilised by our team in recent times.
